ABOUT ME

Sue Foley Dip Couns Ba (Hons)

Hello and welcome to my profile.

My journey into counselling began over ten years ago, when I faced my own difficult life experiences. Through counselling I was able to explore my own unresolved issues that had held me back from finding a more complete and peaceful self.

Throughout my career I have worked in a supportive role. I trained as a nursery nurse and worked in primary school for some years before moving into family support. Once my own children had grown I set out to realise my ambition of becoming a counsellor.

I value the uniqueness of an individual’s life script, and how our experiences have helped shape the person that we become. I understand how daunting attending a first counselling session can be – the first step is always the hardest…..

Working as an integrative practitioner, it is my aim to provide a safe, confidential, and sensitive setting to enable your counselling journey to begin. Working therapeutically, I will support and work alongside you in enabling you to have a deeper understanding of your issue and how you may make changes, achieve an aspiration, or develop a greater sense of well-being in your life.
